This is an index page to the Build 1 assignments, Lessons 1-6 with a description of what you'll find in each one.
This is the first time I ever created a webpage so it is a bare bones looking page. In this lesson I learned about directory set up, basic HTML tags, form and function, validating [X]HTML, and uploading to a Web host. The topic is a very short description of my travels with an emphasis on Germany.
This lesson focuses on CSS color, background images, validating CSS, special formatting, and hypertext links. The topic is my doll collection.
This lesson discusses CSS font properties, CSS text-properties, and pseudo-class selectors. The topic is my favorite books.
Here I learned about images (very difficult for me!), classes, and divs & spans. The topic is my Alice in Wonderland Dolls by Robert Tonner.
This lesson focused on margins and padding as well as how to create a data table. The topic is my Silkstone® Barbies.
In this last lesson I learned about meta tags, web site directories, and index pages. The topic is my Mod Barbies. This lesson also has my explanation of the differences between selectors and classes, and under what conditions they are used. This is located in the source code itself rather than a separate page.
