Trip Planning Running at WDW My Next Trip Disneyland Disney Cruises Disney Vacation Club
Why I love Disney destinations
Growing up, I loved Disney. From the movies, to the music, to now hilarious 1980s workout videos for kids. My dad was and still is a big fan of Walt Disney, the man who started it all. My parents, my sister, and I went on our first trip to Walt Disney World in 1994 when I was 13. My parents thought that would be our one and only trip, the trip of a lifetime. They were completely wrong. We all loved it too much to never go back. A few years later my parents even became members of the Disney Vacation Club (Disney's timeshare program). Since that first trip, I have been back at least twelve times. It's just so much fun for people of any age. And I always find something new to see or do everytime I go. The resorts and parks are immaculate. And it's a place where, if you let yourself, you can be a kid.
I've also been on five Disney cruises. I've never even tried another cruise line – I just keep going back to Disney because I love it so much. The food is wonderful, the rooms and the ship itself are beautifully decorated. I've never run out of things to do on a Disney cruise. Also, it's very child-friendly.
I've only been to Disneyland once, but I can't wait to go back to the first Disney theme park. There was so much I did not get to see or do. I didn't quite make it to all of the lands in Disneyland and I didn't even enter Disney's California Adventure. There are other Disney destinations that I would like to visit too - Disneyland Paris, a new resort in Hawaii, and they aren't exactly Disney destinations, but I would love to try an Adventures by Disney vacation.
