Building a Website, Level 1

This website was developed as a result of completing the Level 1, Building a Website, online class, offered by LVS Online Classes. Level 1 is taught by Dee Hoffman, a very qualified instructor. As the class progressed through the lessons, Deborah very closely examined each and every lesson and offered advice when necessary. The class was six weeks long and crammed full of techniques. I was constantly amazed at how quickly Ms. Hoffman responded to checking the lessons and answering questions.

If the website is explored in order, from Lesson One to the end, the viewer will be able to see the development of skills and the introduction of new techniques. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn how to construct web pages.

Lesson Three

Don't let the short list of concepts fool you. There is tons of information in each lesson.

Lesson Four

Although Lesson Four list only 3 topics, this lesson causes your imagination to run wild. These techniques make the styling possibilities seem endless. It would be easy to spend the whole class time experimenting with these concepts.

Lesson Five

Conceptually, Lesson Five was easy to understand, but when it came to putting the skills into action, that was another story. This is another lesson that you could easily spend days seeing all of the different things that happen when only one or two numbers are changed. I chose a format for my webpage that would help me see changes that were happening.
