Build 1, Week 1 - the basics of building a web page. Very challenging!
Build 1, Week 2 - MORE XHTML! EEK! Just when I thought I knew what I was doing, more XHTML came along. All kidding aside, I got through it. Very challenging, and when you actually "get it" it's like this BIG light blub goes on. Not a bad feeling!
Build 1, Week 3 - CSS! Ok, what's that? Well, if you'd asked me 6 weeks ago, I wouldn't have a very intelligent answer. It's probably not that an "intelligent" one now either, however, I do know exactly what it is, in my own warped way that is!
Build 1, Week 4 - Images! Now, we're getting to the fun part. Who would have thunk that a teeny weeny picture could actually be huge in size. I learned a lot here and when class is over, I'll be practicing a lot with this "stuff!"
Build 1, Week 5 - Classes, Divs, and Spans. What!!! Wow, when I read the first page of this section, I realized "Think I need a break from reading!" Glad I did, because a few days later and some practice, and things fell into place. I've realized that with web design, XHTML, it's practice, practice and a little more practice!
Build 1, Week 6 - Meta tags, directories and paths? Hmmm, meta tags make perfect sense! Then the cat comes along, knocks over diet soda into the key board, and now I'm beyond frustrated! I'm racing against the clock, but I'm determined to make it, even if I fight with my keyboard!"
Build Your Website 1 - Great course! Great instructor! I'm sure Deb puts up with a lot! I can't wait to practice more and hopefully start "Build Your Website 2" in the fall.
