Chocolate Chip Cookies- Peanut Butter Cookies- Oatmeal Raisin Ice Cream Sandwiches


Hershey's Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is my absolute favorite cookie recipe for the holidays. The cookies are soft, fluffy and chewy. I always get many compliments on these cookies. The one drawback to taking these to a party is that there are rarely any leftovers to bring back home.

Ingredients

1 cup butter softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups (12 ounce package)Herseys
semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup choppped nuts

Heat oven to 375°. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixtrue,beating well, stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop dough by rounded teaspoofuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly;remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

Makes about 6 dozen cookies

Hershey's Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

½ cup sugar
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup butter softened
½ cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons sugar

Heat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and butter; beat until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter,vanilla and egg;blend well. Add four,baking soda and salt;mix well. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. With fork dipped in sugar flatten balls in criss-cross pattern. Bake at 375° for 6-9 minutes or until set and golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies

Pillsburys Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ingredients

½ pound butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ cup all-purpose four
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt (optional)
3 cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned,
uncooked)
1 cup raisins
Softned ice cream or frozen yogurt

Heat oven to 350°. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour,baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Sitr in oats and raisins;mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonsfuls onto ungreased cookiesheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. cool completely. Store tightly covered.

To make sandwiches, spread softened ice cream on bottom side of one cookie; top with second cookies. Wrap airtight; freeze.

Makes about 2 dozen sandwiches
