LVS Class Work

Hello, my name is Heidi. I am taking a class to learn how to create my own website. I am very excited about this as I have wanted to learn to create my own site for a very long time. I am glad to finally be taking a step in learning how to create a site of my own.

Lesson One

This is my first attempt at creating a page. I have just finished reading through my first lesson and have learned a lot about tags and codes. I have learned about Doctype declaration,HTML tags, the Namespace Declaration, Head tags, Titles, Meta, Heading tags and many others. Among many other things, I have learned the difference between tags that come in pairs and stand alone, block and inline tags.

Experimenting With Tags

The above wordings in the bold writing are my first attempts at using heading tags. I have learned that headings are in order of their importance. Heading 1 will always be larger than heading 2 and you should not have more than one heading 1.

About The Class

When I was in high school I took a computer class and just loved it! I don't know why, but I never took another of those classes and have always regretted it. In college, I went into the Veterinary Technician program, which I loved, but now that I am older I have decided to try to do some things I have put off and have wanted to do for a long time. I am very happy to be learning more about computers and website building.

I am enjoying this class very much and am very excited to learn as much as I can about website building. Looking very forward to the day when I can create my own site using what I have learned in these classes.

Happy Birthday Song

I am going to sing a song and try out some Br / tags.
