History
Credit Union established in 1976 and registered in 1981. The idea borne out a recognition that the community needed to mobilize its financial and human resources in a self help manner. for the development and improvement of the way of life of the people of Laborie.
The Credit Union have been successful in completing its mandate, so much so, that in 2001, it was recognized by the Caribbean confederation of Credit Unions as the model Credit Union in the OECS.
