Ok, this next hyperlink on the next line to Wikipedia is "invisible". It is the same color as the rest of the text in this page. If you hover over it or visit the site, it will become visible.

Selectors are tags, such as <em>. Classes are declared in CSS. In some cases, a class can do the same as a selector. For example, if you want to change all the text in your web page to italics, you might think of using the <em> tag around everything. Not only is this time consuming, it is improper coding. The <em> tag is to put emphasis on text. You aren't trying to emphasize your entire page, just make it look different. You should instead make a class to italicize everything, and use the <em> tag to make text normal. This way you are keeping in mind what you are using a selector for.
