How to get Images
There are many image types. In order of quality, the basics are GIFs, JPEGs, and TIFFs. GIFs are very low quality, JPEGs are normal, and TIFFs are very high quality.
The extensions for GIFs are .gif, JPEGs are .jpg, and TIFFs are .tif.
You can get images in many ways. I will list a few here.
You can use a camera to take pictures. These pictures are normally JPEGS. Most cameras can be connected to a computer, and the pictures can be transfered. On the computer, you can edit the pictures.
Most computers come with a program that can make and edit images, such as Paint. You can also buy a better program, such as Photoshop. Most programs can edit any image, but some programs will only edit certain types, such as GIFs.
You can find many images on the Internet. The easiest way to find an image is by using a search engine. But be careful, because some images are copyrighted, and you will need permission to use them.
If you are looking for images, Google™ Images is a great site to use. It can search for images using search terms. If you want an image, you can find it on Google™ Images. As always, beware of copyrights.
These are a few sample images. Go ahead and use them, if you would like to.
