This year has been a real adventure. Putting the house on the market, looking for a new home & furniture. Researching jewelry and building my brand. Buying new books, always books, my library never stops growing! Waiting to restart classes at LVS.
Please check out the places that I've shopped this year to start us on the road to a new life.

LVS Online Where Learning is Fun
Putting the house on the market was scary! If the house sold before we found a place to live, well that just could NOT happen! So we started looking online for a new home. We didn't want to buy a house for a few years to learn the layout, where we wanted to live, and check out jobs and schools. We knew we wanted a four bedroom apartment since there are three of us. And grandma can finally have a real office with a door that shuts out the world. We also wanted a nice neighborhood, security and if possible a garage. That's a tall order for an apartment building. Just type rental in your favorite search engine and where you want to live and you'll find all kinds of realtor options & apartment guides.
The one we liked was Renting Options and Apartment Guides. For signing a lease on an apartment from Rent.com you receive a $100 dollar gift card.Every little bit helps.
We found the ultimate apartment. WOW! It had everything on our list! Including some things we didn't have.
4 bedrooms, seperate hallway with my bedroom and office across the hall from each other. And a bathroom just outside my bedroom door.
Nice master bedroom with private bath for Chelsea (chelseeuh). Nice bedroom for Jonah next door to mom. Best kitchen out of any we found so far.

Amazingly enough they go by your income. So the whole shabang for 751 dollars a month plus a seperate nominal fee for the garage. We are so excited we cannot wait to move and not for obvious family reasons. This old house is 80 years old and past time it was torn down and made way for new. But hey, I'll squeeze every drop out of it I put into it. Check out Canterbury House Apartments and look for the one in Newburgh, IN.
Chelsea was looking around the interweb for furniture one day and came across Rooms To Go.com They have great furniture at a great price. We could furnish our entire apartment for 10,000 dollars. You can buy room packages which is cheaper than buying each piece at a time. Look for my bedroom set "Cindy Crawford Home Lakeshore Wing" and our living room furniture is called "Lynley". It's so hard to wait for our beautiful apartment and our new furniture but most of all to see my daughter. Jonah misses his Aunt Brianne, Uncle Greg and cousin Ethan and cousin it (lol) so much.
The hottest thing in jewelry for the past several years are Chocolate Pearls. Coffee colored fashion and jewelry like espresso, latte, cappuccino and coffee and cream. So I knew I wanted my brand to work with those colors. I found the perfect gift boxes at US BOX.com. Look under boxes and then jewelry gift boxes. Packaging is so important for brand recognition. I also found chocolate and espresso tissue paper and even chocolate colored ribbon. It took me awhile to figure out my logo since I'm no artist but once I did everything came together. I so cannot wait to get my site online. This is the first step, now I feel like I'm finally doing something towards my goal. Thank you Deb.
The books I order now are of a jewelry nature of course. That now includes the popular beading magazines, Bead Style, Step by Step Beads and Step by Step Wire. My sources for books are the publishing houses for the above mentioned magazines, Kalmbach and Interweave Press. Chelsea also has books she wants to buy so our library just keeps growing. There is a Barnes and Noble close to where we'll live and there's nothing better than browsing a bookstore for hours and hours especially on a rainy day!
To be compliant in today's coding practices you must keep in mind accessibility for people with vision impairments. For myself, I live without the use of my right eye which severely compromises my depth perception and balance, otherwise I see very well. My brother is partially color blind. The grass is always brown to him. I think that's worse because I cannot imagine seeing the world with no color.
If you will note the first three headings on this page have a light background with dark text. The last three have a dark background with light text. The latter is harder to read and a no-no for accessibility. I had a friend once who was suffering from macular degeneration. The Web Accessibility Toolbar I installed gives you simulations of these vision impairments. What can I say, I never knew. Whatever your web related dream is you can only learn it at "LVS: Where Dreams Really Do Come True." Help those with vision dissabilities by learning standard coding practices.
